Introduction

Alliance of Lawyers for Research and Development of Legal Sector in Nepal (ALDeRLS-Nepal) is a pioneer legal organization in Nepal. It was established in 2006 AD by a group of lawyers. It was registered as a non-governmental organization under Societies Registration Act 1977 in Government of Nepal/District Administration Office/Kathmandu, No: 475/2006 and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) No. 20918/2006.  

This institution should focus on the  legal research, business law and international trade laws, criminal justice system, human rights and good governance issues.

Its members are researchers from the disciplines of different sector of laws. It implements its activities through research, resource development, community mobilization, legal awareness and legal aid to bring about the systematic transformation in the society.
